Queer Metalsmiths partnered with SNAG (Society of North American Goldsmiths) for the 2026 In Focus exhibition, which was showcased digitally during the SNAG x Detroit conference and virtually both on the SNAG website and the QM website.

In Focus is a curated digital showcase dedicated to spotlighting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists from underappreciated communities who are redefining the future of jewelry and metalsmithing, with submissions from artists working in all materials, aesthetics, levels of experience, and backgrounds.

During the conference, Queer Metalsmiths co-founder Tracey Carswell joined juror Meesh Flowers, In Focus artists Chun An Huai, Mia Ferraro, and Pavonis Giron for a special Panel Discussion.
